Serves: 8 to 12
Ingredients
- 8 ounces plain raw almonds
- 8 ounces plain raw pecans
- 8 ounces plain raw hazelnuts
- ⅓ cup Goldswarm Honey
- Salt, to taste
- Optional spice: ½ teaspoon cinnamon or cardamom
- 8 ounces sundried cranberries
Method
- Prepare the Nuts
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (convection).
- Combine the almonds, pecans, and hazelnuts in a mixing bowl.
- Season and Coat
- Add a sprinkle of salt to taste and, if desired, the spice of your choice (cinnamon or cardamom). Mix well to coat the nuts evenly.
- Pour in the Goldswarm Honey and, using gloved hands, toss until the nuts are fully coated.
- Bake the Nuts
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the nuts in a single layer.
- Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the nuts develop a golden-brown glaze. Keep a close eye to prevent burning.
- Cool and Combine
- Remove the nuts from the oven and let them cool to room temperature.
- Once cooled, peel the nuts off the parchment paper and mix with the sundried cranberries.
- Serve or Store
- Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container for later enjoyment.
