Honey Glazed Orange-Ginger Shrimp

This vibrant and flavorful dish combines the natural sweetness of Goldswarm Honey with zesty orange juice and fragrant ginger. 1 lb. large peeled and deveined shrimp (20-25 count)

1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon finely diced ginger
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder (plus extra for garnish)
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons Goldswarm Honey
- 1 tablespoon canola oil or grapeseed oil
- ¼ cup finely chopped scallions
Method

Marinate the Shrimp
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shrimp with garlic, ginger, Chinese five-spice powder, and soy sauce.
- Marinate for about 20 minutes to let the flavors infuse.

Prepare the Sauce
- In a measuring cup, mix the orange juice and Goldswarm Honey.
- Slowly stir in the cornstarch until it is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth.

Cook the Shrimp
- Heat the oil in a deep sauté pan or Chinese wok over high heat.
- Add the marinated shrimp and sauté for 2-4 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and translucent.

Add the Sauce
- Pour the orange-honey cornstarch mixture into the pan with the shrimp.
- Stir continuously for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens into a glossy glaze that coats the shrimp.

- Transfer the shrimp and sauce to a serving dish.
- Dust lightly with additional Chinese five-spice powder and garnish with chopped scallions.
- Serve hot with steamed Jasmine or Basmati rice for a complete meal.
