Crackling Sriracha & Honey Chicken Wings

Spicy, sweet, and perfectly caramelized, these Crackling Sriracha & Honey Chicken Wings are a crowd-pleaser for any occasion. The combination of bold Sriracha, fragrant garlic and ginger, and the natural sweetness of Goldswarm Honey creates an irresistible glaze. Easy to prepare and packed with flavor, these wings are sure to be a hit at your next gathering.

Serves: 4 to 6

Ingredients

    • 2 lbs. chicken wings
    • 1 cup Siracha sauce
    • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
    • 2 tablespoons finely chopped ginger
    • ½ cup Goldswarm Honey (reserve some for garnish)
    • ¼ cup finely diced scallions

    Method

    1. Marinate the Wings
      • In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken wings with Sriracha sauce, minced garlic, and chopped ginger.
      • Marinate for at least 1 hour, or for more intense flavor, refrigerate overnight.
    2. Prepare for Baking
      • Preheat oven to 400 ºF (convection) about 20 minutes before baking.
      • Add the Goldswarm Honey to the mixing bowl with the marinated wings and toss to evenly coat.
    3. Bake the Wings
      • Transfer the marinated wings to an oven-safe dish, arranging them in a single layer. Pour any remaining marinade over the wings.
      • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
    4. Caramelize the Wings
      • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the wings begin to crackle and caramelize, forming a glossy reddish-brown glaze.
      • Test doneness by poking the center of the wings. If the juices run clear, they are fully cooked.
    5. Serve
      • Remove the wings from the oven and transfer them to a serving dish. Drizzle with any remaining sauce from the aking dish and a touch of Goldswarm Honey.
      • Garnish with diced scallions and serve hot.
